Ariola Sol

Pensacola Beach

Ariola Sol is a coastal deck rebuild designed for the way this Pensacola Beach home is actually used—bare feet, salty air, heavy sun, and constant traffic to and from the sand. The original deck, stairs, and rail system had reached the end of their service life, so our crew framed a new outdoor structure of stairs from the ground up making them wider treads, focusing on strength, clean lines, and low-maintenance materials that can handle life on the water.

For the decking surface, we installed Deckorators® Voyage Decking, a premium composite built for high-performance waterfront environments. The main field of the deck features Voyage in Costa, a warm, driftwood-toned finish that feels right at home against the beach backdrop. To give the layout a crisp, custom look, we added a Slate picture-frame border around the deck perimeter, the stairs, and the walkover leading to the beach. That two-tone detail creates a sharp visual edge, helps define the space, and adds a subtle contrast that pops in the sun.

Safety and sightlines were just as important as style. We wrapped the deck and stair runs with Deckorators Black Cable Railing, giving the exterior a modern, airy profile without blocking the view. The black posts and sleek horizontal cables pair perfectly with the Costa and Slate tones, keeping everything visually light while still meeting the demands of a busy beach house.

To finish the project, we painted the existing columns to match the refreshed palette, tying the whole elevation together and giving the home a clean, cohesive “new build” feel. The completed renovation delivers a durable, coastal-ready outdoor living space with upgraded materials, improved function, and a polished look built to last through sun, salt, and seasons.
